For Me... it's GOT to Bee Thai

The anticipation of a new restaurant opening in a familiar location in downtown Mission was palpable. When we found out it was going to serve Thai cuisine, I could hardly wait.

Imagine our excitement in discovering that this new restaurant would be owned and operated by a local family who had enjoyed great success with their Vancouver restaurant.

... need we mention that they also earned the title of "Best curry in the city?"

I first met Bee when she and her mom opened on 1st Avenue. Bee had grown up in Mission and spent a lot of time working at their restaurant in the city. She was passionate about bringing their delicious flavours to our hometown. A huge amount of time and resources were put in to turning the old & outdated greasy spoon in to a quaint spot to enjoy delicious Thai cuisine. 

Bee Thai has now become a local favourite. 

Their menu has a variety of authentic Bangkok-style dishes, including curry dishes guaranteed to delight anyone.  Fried Rice and Pad Thai are must-haves anytime we order and you can't beat the plentiful fresh seafood offered in the seafood dishes. 

They cater to vegetarians (can’t beat a straight up veggie stir-fry) and most of their dishes can be ordered gluten free. 

Looking for a great place for lunch? 

You will love their lunch specials as much as I do. 

With a variety of $12.95 specials to choose from, each is accompanied with their own special sides of jasmine rice, soup and deep fried wontons (don’t forget to add a thai spring roll for an extra $1.)

A great deal for such delicious cuisine and generous portions. 

Anyone who thinks they need to leave Mission to find great Thai cuisine, should go no further than Bee Thai in downtown Mission.
